Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating documents related to real estate transactions, including development, purchases, leases, and secured loans. Location:

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate documents for a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including development, purchases and sales, leases, loans, modifications, and workouts.
  • Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions and assist in the closing process.
  • Work with institutional clients, developers, REITs, lenders, health systems, renewable energy companies, and more.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals both locally and nationally within the firm.
  • Contribute to client strategy development and legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex real estate documents.
  • Experience with development, leasing, purchases, sales, secured loans, and related real estate matters.
  • Strong due diligence and closing process experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar Admission in Arizona (or eligibility to waive into the Arizona Bar).

Skills:

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and practices.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
