A law firm seeks an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Marietta, Georgia. Duties

  • Handle personal injury cases, including vehicular, industrial, and construction injury claims, through all stages of litigation.
  • Manage pre-litigation and post-litigation tasks, including case investigation, drafting demand packages, complaints, and discovery documents.
  • Prepare and file motions, handle trial preparation, and represent clients during trial proceedings.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather information and explain the legal process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in settlement conferences or hearings.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure adherence to deadlines and legal procedures.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in personal injury litigation, including case preparation, motions, discovery, and trial.
  • Knowledge of pre-litigation and post-litigation processes, including dealing with insurance companies.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to support case preparation.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and work independently, while also being a team player.
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach to legal work.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to practice law in Georgia.
