Associate Attorney (Estate Planning / Probate)

Duties:

• Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance on estate planning, probate, and guardianship matters.

• Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, guardianship applications, and probate filings.

• Oversee estate planning executions and ensure compliance with relevant legal regulations.

• Represent clients in court hearings and legal proceedings related to probate and guardianship.

• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals to efficiently manage case workflow.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estate planning and probate laws to provide informed legal counsel.

Requirements:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.

• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York Notary Public certification (preferred).
