A law firm in Fort Worth is seeking an Insurance Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of 1st and/or 3rd party property insurance coverage experience. The ideal candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, legal abilities, and skills, along with strong writing and research capabilities.

 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in insurance coverage disputes related to 1st and/or 3rd party property insurance.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and appeals.
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on insurance coverage matters to clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas in good standing.
  • 1-3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on insurance coverage.
  • Strong understanding of insurance law, particularly 1st and/or 3rd party property insurance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and development.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
