A law firm seeks a dedicated Trial Associate Attorney to join their team in Dallas, TX. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with experience in personal injury litigation, particularly those who have participated in jury trials. The role involves managing all aspects of trial preparation and proceedings while delivering exceptional client service.

Duties:

  • Draft and file legal petitions, including preparation of discovery documents.
  • Prepare plaintiffs for depositions and manage depositions of defendants and experts.
  • Conduct mediations and represent clients in hearings and trials.
  • Handle contested motions effectively and negotiate settlements for litigation cases.
  • Write Stowers demands and review expert affidavits.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain effective communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  • Must have participated in at least 5 jury trials as first or second chair.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Texas State Bar membership is required.

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and legal research abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
