Duties:

• Handle various litigation matters on behalf of public agency clients.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Manage and prioritize multiple litigation projects efficiently.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to provide legal counsel and representation.
• Take ownership of significant projects and handle them with minimal supervision.
• Participate in case strategy development and client interactions.
• Demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Stay updated on legal developments, particularly in the area of eminent domain.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in litigation.
• Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to take ownership of significant litigation projects.
• Admission to practice law in the state of Washington is required.

Education:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Washington State Bar is required.
