Job Description

Duties

  • Review and prepare detailed summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.
  • Represent insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation.
  • Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed.
  • Draft initial, interim, and pre-trial reports and manage trials and appellate activities.
  • Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery-related motions.
  • Regularly attend court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Kentucky.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home defense.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership and good standing with the Kentucky Bar Association.

Skills

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent research abilities.
  • Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.
