Workers' Compensation Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its Mt. Laurel, NJ office. This full-time position is designed for candidates who excel in time management, writing, and communication. The successful applicant will thrive in a collaborative, high-volume environment and be eager to address the needs of clients while delivering effective legal solutions.

Duties

• Evaluate new files and assess the merits of cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and legal guidance.
• Manage the production of discovery materials and documentation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda on various areas of law.
• Draft, argue, and prepare discovery motions, substantive motions, and pre- and post-trial motions.
• Attend pretrial listings, motions hearings, and trials as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license to practice law in New Jersey, in good standing.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in New Jersey workers’ compensation and insurance defense is preferred but not mandatory.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in New Jersey.
