Litigation Attorney

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, nationally recognized law firm in New Jersey for a Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice. Duties:

• Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting and responding to pleadings.
• Manage discovery, including document production, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to develop and implement case strategies.
• Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing legal counsel.

Requirements:

• 5-6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures and legal principles.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar (or eligibility for admission).

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar (or the ability to obtain admission).

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
