A law firm seeks an experienced attorney to manage eviction-related matters remotely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong legal acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple cases efficiently. Duties

  • Manage a comprehensive eviction caseload, including client consultations and case strategy development.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and other legal proceedings; courtroom experience is preferred.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and keep abreast of changes in eviction laws and regulations nationwide.
  • Provide clients with updates and education on legal trends impacting eviction cases.

Requirements

  • Active membership in the California State Bar, with compliance with all licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • A minimum of one year of experience practicing law.
  • Experience in eviction, foreclosure, litigation, or title law is preferred but not mandatory.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • California State Bar membership. Additional bar admissions are a plus.
