Duties:

  • Manage civil and commercial litigation cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
  • Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings.
  • Prepare motions, discovery responses, and client reports.
  • Assist in trial preparation including case strategy, discovery management, records review, client interviews, and witness preparation.
  • Provide strategic input and manage day-to-day case-related tasks.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial litigation.
  • Experience taking and defending depositions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Illinois and Missouri Bar licenses (required).
