Estate Planning Attorney Elder Law

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Estate Planning Attorney on behalf of a growing law firm specializing in Trust and Estate Planning and Administration. The firm, with offices in Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Coeur d'Alene, is looking for an experienced attorney in Elder Law to join the team. The ideal candidate will handle various aspects of estate planning, including client consultations, asset protection strategies, and document preparation, all while contributing positively to the team.

Duties:

• Conduct initial consultations with clients and devise customized estate planning strategies.
• Prepare legal documents for comprehensive and sophisticated Estate Plans.
• Develop long-term care and asset protection strategies for clients.
• Lead and participate in final meetings with clients to finalize estate planning documents.
• Oversee and delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with clients throughout their cases.
• Collaborate effectively with the legal team to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Active member of the Washington State Bar (additional licensure in Idaho or Oregon preferred).
• 3-5 years of legal experience in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and/or Estate Administration.
• Ability to manage cases and clients independently after an orientation period.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and contribute positively to the firm's environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Washington State Bar license (required).
• Admission to Idaho or Oregon Bar (preferred but not required).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly (DOE) plus bonus opportunities.
