Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Estate Planning Attorney on behalf of a growing law firm specializing in Trust and Estate Planning and Administration. The firm, with offices in Spokane, Tri-Cities, and Coeur d'Alene, is looking for an experienced attorney in Elder Law to join the team. This role offers a competitive salary, opportunities for bonuses, and a unique four-day workweek for full-time staff. The ideal candidate will handle various aspects of estate planning, including client consultations, asset protection strategies, and document preparation, all while contributing positively to the team.

Duties:

  • Conduct initial consultations with clients and devise customized estate planning strategies.
  • Prepare legal documents for comprehensive and sophisticated Estate Plans.
  • Develop long-term care and asset protection strategies for clients.
  • Lead and participate in final meetings with clients to finalize estate planning documents.
  • Oversee and delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with clients throughout their cases.
  • Collaborate effectively with the legal team to ensure client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Washington State Bar (additional licensure in Idaho or Oregon preferred).
  • 3-5 years of legal experience in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and/or Estate Administration.
  • Ability to manage cases and clients independently after an orientation period.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and confidence with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and contribute positively to the firm's environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Washington State Bar license (required).
  • Admission to Idaho or Oregon Bar (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Expertise in Estate Planning and Estate Administration.
  • Ability to manage and strategize asset protection and long-term care planning.
  • Strong document preparation skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills to maintain client relationships.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 yearly (DOE) plus bonus opportunities.
