A law firm seeks a dedicated Remote Attorney to join its team, providing essential support for client consultations as part of a legal service provider contract in Rhode Island. Duties

• Conduct telephone consultations with clients on various legal matters.
• Review contracts and other legal documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Draft documentation and correspondence to facilitate effective communication with third parties.
• Assist in dispute resolution by communicating with involved parties.
• Meet daily performance goals and adhere to compliance requirements and firm policies.

Requirements

• Must be an active member in good standing of the Rhode Island State Bar; additional licenses in MD, VA, MA, NH, VT, or DC are a plus.
• 0-1 year of experience
• No history of bar discipline in any jurisdiction.
• Excellent customer service orientation, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Lexis, and web-based legal platforms.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree preferred, but not mandatory for applicants with relevant experience.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Rhode Island; additional licenses in relevant jurisdictions are beneficial.
