Duties

  • Manage all phases of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, dog attacks, premises liability, sexual assault, and catastrophic injuries.
  • Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and insurance adjusters.
  • Draft motions and briefs, argue motions in court, and represent clients at hearings.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case evaluations, pleadings, and motion documents.
  • Develop case strategies and manage cases from inception through resolution.
  • Interview witnesses, consult with clients, and work with expert witnesses.
  • Assist with trial preparation, participate in mock trials, and support lead attorneys during trials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, particularly with third-party auto accident and first-party no-fault claims.
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex legal matters with minimal supervision.
  • Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral argument.
  • Proven experience managing high-value cases successfully.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state (Bar admission required).
