Duties

• Offer strategic legal advice and draft necessary documents pertinent to individual cases

• Conduct case assessments, legal research, and precedent analysis to predict potential outcomes

• Manage direct client communications and maintain strong client relationships

• Interview witnesses and coordinate expert testimony to strengthen defense arguments

• Oversee the preparation of legal materials and supervise case progression

• Collaborate closely with internal legal teams and support staff to ensure case preparedness

• Develop and refine litigation strategies aligned with client goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years of dedicated experience in criminal defense

• Proficiency in managing complex criminal cases at local, state, and federal levels

• Demonstrated courtroom and litigation experience

• Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and legal assistants

• High-level interpersonal, communication, and advocacy skills

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas

Certifications

• Admission to the Texas State Bar in good standing
