Mid-Level Capital Markets Associate

Job Overview:
A well-regarded law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join their San Diego office in the areas of capital markets, corporate governance, and securities regulation. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience working with public companies, providing legal support on a range of capital markets transactions, and navigating corporate governance and securities regulatory matters.

Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and securities regulations
• Draft and review securities filings and other regulatory documents
• Work closely with public companies and assist with compliance and corporate governance matters
• Perform legal research and provide counsel on regulatory issues
• Manage day-to-day legal matters for clients in the capital markets sector
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient legal support

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets
• Experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Proven ability to manage complex legal projects and transactions
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with teams

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in California
