A law firm is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably at a boutique labor and employment firm or within the employment practices group of a general practice firm. The candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, strong communication, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills, and must be admitted to practice in Texas.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Provide counsel and advice to clients on labor and employment law matters.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate progress on all cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and the legal team on complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in labor and employment law.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong communication, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and work under pressure.
  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas (required).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and filing legal documents.
  • Strong oral advocacy and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
