The successful candidate should possess a demonstrated history of efficiently managing a full caseload, encompassing responsibilities such as reporting, drafting motions, discovery, court appearances, and pre-trial preparation. New York Bar admission is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload, focusing on insurance defense matters, emphasizing general liability and commercial transportation.
• Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex issues, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
• Draft various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to develop effective case strategies and achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain organized and detailed case records, documenting client interactions, court appearances, and case developments.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-20 years of hands-on experience in insurance defense, specifically in general liability matters and commercial transportation.
• Proven ability to handle a full caseload, demonstrating proficiency in reporting, drafting motions, discovery, court appearances, and pre-trial preparation.
• Mandatory admission to the New York Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
