Location:

Duties:

  • Handle mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and licensing matters.
  • Work on franchise-related matters, including franchise agreements and compliance.
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory issues, franchise systems, and distribution matters.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
  • Work on matters involving business transactions and corporate governance.
  • Take on significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on various legal projects and cases.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and licensing matters.
  • Franchise experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • High degree of maturity and a proven willingness to assume responsibility.
  • Strong academic credentials and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical skills.
  • Must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar or eligible for admission.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar, or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
