A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a skilled General Liability Defense Attorney to join their team. The position involves handling a diverse caseload of litigation matters with a focus on defending clients in general liability cases.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of litigation from case inception through trial, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and internal team members.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client service.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in good standing in North Carolina.
  • Must have experience practicing law with a strong emphasis on general liability defense.
  • Proven ability to handle a large caseload independently.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
