Duties

  • Provide clients with strategic legal advice and guidance on complex workers' compensation matters.
  • Maintain a high standard of legal research, case analysis, and client communication.
  • Foster and grow relationships with existing clients and bring in new business.
  • Work collaboratively with the firm's team of attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in workers' compensation defense law.
  • License: Active membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar.
  • Book of Business: Candidates with a portable book of business are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a focus on clear and concise client interaction.
  • Client-focused: Ability to build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Litigation Experience: Proven track record of handling workers' compensation defense cases, including conducting depositions and preparing for trials.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
