Estate Planning Associate Attorney

A law firm is actively seeking an experienced Estate Planning Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of specialized experience in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, their families, and businesses. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning, along with a working familiarity with business tax. Exceptional people and communication skills, including proficiency in document drafting, research, and writing, are crucial for success in this role. Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals, families, and businesses.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to support effective tax planning strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents related to income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning.
• Communicate complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored estate plans.
• Stay current on tax laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to estate planning.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in estate planning.
• Specialized expertise in income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning.
• Working familiarity with business tax.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
