  • Provide legal representation in criminal state cases, including arraignments, hearings, and trials.
  • Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and appeals with precise, professional writing.
  • Negotiate with prosecutors to secure favorable plea deals for clients.
  • Review discovery materials, police reports, and evidence, and maintain clear communication with court personnel.
  • Schedule and manage court dates, client appointments, and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in Immigration and/or Criminal State Law.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work without a fixed schedule and meet tight deadlines.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Certifications:
