Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a highly qualified Patent Agent with expertise in electrical engineering, computer science, or applied physics. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications for high-tech innovations across various technology sectors. This position offers the opportunity to engage in patent litigation, post-grant proceedings, and other intellectual property matters while working within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Location:

Duties:

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in the fields of software, hardware, semiconductors, telecommunications, autonomous vehicles, AI, machine learning, robotics, and blockchain.
  • Support intellectual property due diligence and patent landscape analyses.
  • Assist in patent litigation and post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences).
  • Provide legal support for a wide range of IP matters relating to cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients, offering expertise on patent prosecution and other IP-related services.

Requirements:

  • USPTO registration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong academic background with a keen interest in teamwork, client interaction, and assuming significant responsibility.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • USPTO registration is required.
