A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking an Intermediate Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Manager to provide expert guidance and direction on litigation issues, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions, while maximizing case value through thorough development and trial preparation.

Duties:

• Provide guidance and direction on litigation issues, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
• Oversee the preparation and development of cases for trial to maximize their value.
• Manage a team of attorneys and legal staff, ensuring adherence to firm policies and best practices.
• Review and approve legal documents and filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and optimize outcomes.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and strategies.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and other legal proceedings as needed.
• Develop and implement training programs for junior attorneys and staff to enhance their litigation skills.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current laws and regulations relevant to personal injury litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the state bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury practice.
• Proven experience demonstrating leadership and management proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
