This is a dynamic opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of transactional experience in project finance, specifically involving renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in representing lenders or tax equity investors in renewable energy finance transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the complexities involved in project financing within the energy sector.

Duties:

  • Represent lenders, tax equity investors, and other stakeholders in project finance transactions, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review project finance agreements, including financing documents, joint venture agreements, and development agreements.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and guide on regulatory and compliance issues affecting renewable energy projects.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while ensuring the firm’s interests are protected.
  • Work on a variety of projects in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on sustainable and green energy initiatives.
  • Assist with due diligence, transaction structuring, and risk assessments related to project finance transactions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project finance, with specific experience in renewable energy projects preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in representing lenders or tax equity investors in renewable energy financing transactions.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with an emphasis on complex financial agreements and transactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:
