Litigation Attorney

 law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its Chicago office. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in litigation who are prepared to manage cases from inception through trial.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case evaluation and initial analysis.
• Conduct negotiations and prepare cases for trial.
• Take depositions of parties and expert witnesses.
• Develop and implement effective legal strategies throughout the litigation process.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure comprehensive case management.

Requirements:

• 3 to 7 years of litigation experience.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Illinois.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
