A reputable law firm specializing in business, real estate, and civil litigation is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in civil litigation. The selected candidate will support the firm’s litigation practice and collaborate with senior attorneys throughout all phases of the legal process. Experience in consumer warranty defense is considered an asset.

Duties

• Draft legal documents, including motions, discovery requests and responses, and briefs

• Conduct depositions and defend clients during depositions

• Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements

• Represent clients in court hearings

• Participate in meet and confer sessions with opposing counsel

• Support attorneys in trial preparation and litigation strategy

• Perform in-depth legal research to support case development

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in California

• In good standing with the California State Bar

• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience

• Prior experience in consumer warranty defense is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

• Proven ability to work both independently and within a legal team

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
