Duties

  • Represent clients facing criminal charges across all trial stages, from arraignment through post-sentencing.
  • Collaborate with a team of investigators, social workers, and case managers to build effective defense strategies.
  • Manage client communication, file organization, and scheduling through coordination with legal assistants.
  • Conduct client consultations to discuss case details, strategy, and potential developments.

Requirements

  • Active membership with the Oregon State Bar.
  • Demonstrated passion and capability for public defense advocacy.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • In-depth understanding of Multnomah County criminal defense procedures and a reputation for professionalism.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Oregon State Bar membership.

Certifications
