Duties

  • Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and general liability matters.
  • Handle discovery, law and motion practice, depositions, and settlement discussions.
  • Independently manage court appearances, depositions, and hearings with mentorship and guidance.
  • Participate in trial preparation and attend trials to gain valuable courtroom experience.
  • Engage in local travel for hearings, site inspections, client meetings, and trial.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to achieve client objectives and exceed expectations.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong desire to gain trial experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for solving complex legal problems and providing exceptional client service.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • California State Bar Admission.
