Associate Attorney needed for Las Vegas office

A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to provide legal advice, conduct legal research, negotiate, and represent clients in various legal matters. The role involves drafting legal documents, attending court hearings, and advising clients on legal strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on a wide range of legal issues.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support legal proceedings.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
• Maintain communication with clients to provide updates and ensure their legal needs are met.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case strategies and legal matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Nevada Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• 1-5 years of experience practicing law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Experience in providing legal advice and conducting legal research.
