Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation for project finance transactions.
  • Advise clients on legal matters related to project finance structures and transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on regulatory and contractual issues affecting project finance.
  • Review project documentation, including contracts, permits, and financial statements.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligible for admission via reciprocity.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project finance law, preferably with a law firm or financial institution.
  • Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex financing agreements.
  • Strong understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks impacting project finance transactions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or real estate project finance is a plus.
