Job Overview:

The Real Estate Associate Attorney will handle real estate litigation cases in both D.C. and Maryland Courts. They must demonstrate proficiency in real estate law and manage clients effectively and generate new business opportunities.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in real estate litigation matters in D.C. and Maryland Courts.
  • Serve as first chair in trial proceedings related to real estate disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis about real estate laws and regulations.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding real estate transactions and disputes.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience practicing law, focusing on real estate litigation.
  • Membership in the District of Columbia Bar is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of success in handling real estate litigation cases.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships.
  • Experience generating new clients and business opportunities.
  • Excellent academic record from an accredited law school.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar.
