Associate Attorney (Litigation and Transactional Law)

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its team in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with both transactional law and litigation. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and have a strong interest in both areas of legal practice. Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research to support litigation and transactional matters.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and other necessary filings.
• Assist in litigation processes, including drafting motions, discovery requests, and preparing for hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide legal advice to clients.
• Represent clients in legal matters as needed, including court appearances and negotiations.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop effective legal strategies.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm through client service and relationship-building.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Strong interest in both transactional law and litigation.
• Ability to perform legal research and produce high-quality legal documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Motivated to contribute to the success of the firm and engage with the local community.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in Pennsylvania.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (Required).
