Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking a Senior Advice & Counsel Associate or Of Counsel with 7+ years of experience in employment law. The successful candidate will have a strong background in advising employers on various employment matters, drafting and reviewing policies and contracts, handling ADA and FMLA issues, providing training, and conducting workplace investigations. This position offers an opportunity to handle complex legal matters while working collaboratively with a team of professionals.

Location:

Duties:

  • Counsel employers on day-to-day employment issues
  • Draft and review employment policies and procedures
  • Handle ADA and FMLA matters
  • Draft and negotiate employment contracts
  • Provide management and employee training
  • Conduct workplace investigations
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of employment law experience
  • Strong background in providing advice and counseling on employment law matters
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Admission to the California Bar required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California Bar required
