Litigation Attorney for Dallas Office

Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney to join its team in Dallas, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney with 5–15 years of legal experience, particularly in litigation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing personal injury cases and handling a large volume of legal matters, though experience in mass torts or auto collision cases is a plus but not required. The role emphasizes providing legal counsel, drafting motions, attending depositions, and working on diverse legal cases.

Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury and mass tort cases
• Draft, review, and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case development
• Work closely with clients, providing legal advice and guidance
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
• Monitor case deadlines, including statute of limitations and other critical dates
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to strategize on case preparation
• Assist in discovery processes and document review

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas, and in good standing in all states where licensed
• 5–15 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on litigation
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong client relationship and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the State Bar of Texas

Skills:

• Strong litigation and legal research skills
