Litigation Attorney

Job Overview: A well-established national law firm is seeking Litigation Attorney for their Pensacola, FL office. The ideal candidates will have experience in various practice areas, including but not limited to premises liability, auto/trucking liability, general liability, insurance defense, construction defect, medical malpractice, and employment litigation. Location:

• Pensacola, FL

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation cases across various practice areas, such as premises liability, auto/trucking liability, and insurance defense.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop litigation strategies.
• Advise clients on legal matters, risks, and potential resolutions.
• Manage case files from inception through resolution.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited university.
• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: premises liability, auto/trucking liability, general liability, insurance defense, construction defect, medical malpractice, first party property, employment litigation, or workers’ compensation defense.
• Portable book of business is a plus, but not required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Trial experience or strong litigation skills are a plus.
