Job Overview

A law firm seeks a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join its litigation team. This fully remote position requires residence in Florida and offers the opportunity to manage a high-volume caseload of first-party property damage lawsuits. Duties

  • Manage and defend a caseload of first-party property damage lawsuits.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and legal team members to ensure case success.
  • Maintain case files and document all activities to meet procedural deadlines.

Requirements

  • Admission to the Florida State Bar.
  • At least one year of litigation experience (preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the capacity to work independently.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Florida Bar License (required).
