Duties

  • Handle litigation cases from inception through resolution, including preparing and filing motions, drafting legal briefs, and conducting discovery.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and court proceedings.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients in various industries, with a focus on litigation.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and ensure timely case progression.
  • Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal memoranda and reports.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain consistent communication regarding case status and developments.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and assist in mentoring junior associates.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant litigation experience, with a focus on healthcare or energy litigation preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage litigation matters independently, including handling court appearances.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients, colleagues, and support staff.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
