Plaintiff's Employment Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Plaintiff's Employment Civil Litigation Attorney with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate and 0-10 years of civil litigation experience, preferably with a focus on employment law.

Job Duties:

• Handle all aspects of Plaintiff's Employment Civil Litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients on employment law matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategy and preparation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• 0-10 years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on employment law preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to advocating for employee rights and justice.

Preferred Certifications/Skills:

• Experience with employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination, and other employment-related claims.
• Trial experience or a strong desire to litigate cases.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish) is a plus.
