This role involves representing a wide array of creditors, focusing on creditor rights and collection enforcement across multiple states, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, and Minnesota. Open to licensed attorneys in these states, with potential remote opportunities for highly qualified candidates.

Duties

• Represent various creditors, including financial institutions, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other commercial entities
• Manage cases from initial filing to judgment, including post-judgment collections
• Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing parties
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Handle a significant caseload efficiently, meeting deadlines and achieving positive outcomes for clients
• Maintain compliance with local and federal laws governing collections

Requirements

• Active law license in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Tennessee
• Strong proficiency in communication, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in legal software tools

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin or another of the states listed (Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Tennessee)

Skills

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously
