This role involves representing a wide array of creditors, focusing on creditor rights and collection enforcement across multiple states, including Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, and Minnesota. Duties

  • Represent various creditors, including financial institutions, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other commercial entities
  • Manage cases from initial filing to judgment, including post-judgment collections
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing parties
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
  • Handle a significant caseload efficiently, meeting deadlines and achieving positive outcomes for clients
  • Maintain compliance with local and federal laws governing collections

Requirements

  • Active law license in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Tennessee
  • Strong proficiency in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in legal software tools

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin or another of the states listed (Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, or Tennessee)
