Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A national law firm is looking for a highly motivated and talented litigation attorney to join its growing team in California. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in litigation matters across various practice areas, including business litigation, employment, appellate, general liability, and construction defect.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies and solutions.
• Engage in legal research, drafting of pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and hearings as required.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Take on increasing responsibilities, with the opportunity to specialize in specific practice groups.
• Meet the firm’s billable hours requirement and actively contribute to firm development initiatives.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in litigation or related legal practice.
• Strong academic record and alignment with the firm’s cultural values.
• Excellent references and a history of job stability.
• Admission to the California Bar in good standing.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Eagerness to develop and expand skills in various areas of litigation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Member of the California Bar in good standing.

Skills:
