Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join its team in Mount Laurel, NJ. The successful candidate will manage litigation, default services, and bankruptcy matters for lenders and mortgage servicers. This role involves drafting legal documents, conducting research, attending court hearings, and managing a large caseload. The ideal candidate will have experience with default, eviction, and bankruptcy cases in New Jersey, along with a strong ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Draft legal pleadings, notices of hearings, motions, and orders.Conduct research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, and codes to support case strategies.Maintain accurate and timely updates in the case management system to ensure data integrity.Represent clients in court appearances and visit client sites as required.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure effective case management.Perform other legal duties as assigned.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active New Jersey State Bar admission, in good standing.Litigation experience, with a focus on default, eviction, and/or bankruptcy matters preferred.Experience working with lenders and mortgage servicers in New Jersey.Familiarity with client systems in default services, such as Black Knight (preferred).Proficiency in electronic case management systems, with experience in CaseAware (preferred).Strong knowledge of New Jersey laws, legal codes, and court procedures.Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, staff, and colleagues.Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of cases.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Word.Valid driver’s license.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Certifications:Active New Jersey State Bar membership.Skills:Strong litigation, research, and legal writing abilities.Proficient in case management systems and client management platforms.Ability to prioritize and manage a large caseload effectively.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and team members.Benefits:Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.A collaborative work environment with a supportive team.Location:Mount Laurel, NJThis position provides an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to develop their litigation skills and work in a dynamic legal environment.
