Duties:

• Manage litigation cases from initial filing to conclusion, including court appearances, motion practice, and depositions
• Represent clients in trials and appeals, providing strategic legal advice and support throughout the case lifecycle
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide effective legal counsel
• Participate in client meetings and maintain client relationships
• Stay current on legal trends and best practices relevant to the firm’s areas of practice

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
• Valid New Jersey Bar license and ability to practice in the state
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in legal research, drafting documents, and courtroom appearances
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active New Jersey State Bar license
