The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation with at least two years of experience, along with an active Missouri license or the eligibility to become admitted to the Missouri Bar. This role requires a motivated individual who can handle complex legal cases, provide strategic legal advice, and contribute to the firm's success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in litigation, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Manage and oversee case files, ensuring all deadlines and procedural requirements are followed.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
  • Advise clients on legal issues, potential outcomes, and case strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and case law.
  • Attend client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation.
  • Active Missouri license or eligibility to become admitted to the Missouri Bar.
  • Strong understanding of litigation procedures and court rules.
  • Proven ability to handle complex legal cases and provide effective representation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Missouri or eligibility for admission to the Missouri Bar.
