Associate Attorney needed for Fort Lauderdale office

Job Overview: A growing regional law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 4 to 8 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically in construction defect and general liability defense. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
• Advise clients on legal strategy.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Conduct initial investigations.
• Prepare consistent reporting for clients detailing significant case developments.

Requirements:

• General Insurance Defense Experience.
• Construction Defect Experience.
• Maritime Law experience (preferred).
• 4 to 8 years of experience practicing civil litigation in Florida.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar Admission (Required).

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
