Job Title: Business Transaction Associate Attorney (Bilingual - Korean Preferred)

Job Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid - Onsite 4 days, Remote 1 day after probation)

Job Overview:
A dynamic law firm based in Dallas, TX, seeks a talented and motivated Business Transaction Associate Attorney with bilingual proficiency in Korean. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in a variety of business law matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, advising clients on corporate and M&A transactions, and assisting with general business legal issues. The position also allows for a hybrid work arrangement, offering flexibility and the opportunity to grow in a fast-paced legal environment.

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate business documents such as contracts, purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, and operating agreements.

  • Provide legal advice to clients on a range of business matters, including corporate governance and employment-related issues.

  • Assist in resolving disputes related to breach of contract, partnership conflicts, and consumer law issues.

  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to meet team objectives and deliver client solutions.

  • Develop strategic solutions to legal challenges while minimizing potential risks.

  • Prepare detailed memoranda for clients to assist with decision-making processes.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business transactions, corporate law, or M&A.

  • Fluency in both Korean and English (oral and written).

  • Strong writing and analytical capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related technologies.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas (or eligibility to obtain).

Skills:

  • Expertise in business law, M&A, and corporate transactions.

  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written).

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
