Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a skilled Mid-Level Private Equity Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies in complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and general corporate matters.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external clients.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience advising private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
  • Direct experience in a leading AmLaw 100 law firm or similar SEC experience preferred.
