Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Job Overview: A well-regarded law firm located in Lawrenceville, GA, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Law Attorney to provide expert legal representation to clients dealing with sensitive family matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in family law, particularly in divorce, child custody, prenuptial agreements, alimony, child support, and real estate. Duties:

• Represent clients in family law court proceedings, including trials and hearings
• Manage complex family law cases from initial consultation through resolution
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, and court orders
• Advocate for clients by analyzing their needs and developing strategic solutions
• Conduct client interviews and consultations, providing expert legal advice
• Negotiate and mediate settlements, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal staff to ensure thorough case management
• Maintain well-organized client files and case documentation
• Assist clients in property division, child custody, and support matters
• Litigate divorce and child custody cases as necessary, including final trials
• Ensure a high level of client satisfaction, working towards obtaining positive reviews and referrals

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience practicing family law in Georgia
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, particularly in high-pressure situations
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia with no prior disciplinary issues
• In-depth knowledge of Georgia family law, procedures, and relevant case law
• Proven trial experience, particularly in divorce and child custody cases
• Ability to manage a full caseload and work efficiently within established systems
• Comfortable with technology and new software applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a strong work ethic
• Must be proactive, punctual, and reliable

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia
