Associate Attorney needed for Chicago office

Duties:

• Manage and handle a caseload independently

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials

• Participate in depositions and prepare witnesses

• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Provide exceptional client service and maintain effective communication

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably on the plaintiff's side

• Ability to handle cases independently and manage a dynamic workload

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Experience with state court proceedings

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois
